Light-Curable SpeedMask® Maskants
Replace traditional time-consuming tapes, waxes, and lacquer masking methods. Dymax SpeedMask® resins cure with UV or LED light for reliable surface protection not available from traditional masking materials.
Our light-curable maskants are different in that they conform to complex geometries and are easily removed via peeling or incineration, leaving a residue-free surface. Simply apply, cure, treat, and remove in four easy steps.
Products come in several viscosities for easy application through dipping, spraying, or screen printing. Formulations are available with high adhesion, secondary heat cure, and high-visibility colors such as pink, blue, and green.
Recommended surfaces include nickel superalloys, high-temperature steel, titanium, cobalt, and stainless steel.
SpeedMask® maskants can be used throughout many industries, including aerospace, power generation, and metal finishing, as well as the manufacturing of orthopedic implants and medical devices.

SpeedMask 758-H maskant is formulated for UV/Visible and LED light curing to provide good protection during chemical milling/etching, plating, anodizing, and aggressive grit-blasting operations.
9-7001
PCB protective maskant with color change upon cure provides one-layer protection with a rack free cure up to 0.5 in [12.7 mm]. This maskant is compatible with gold and copper connector pins and resists solvent-based conformal coatings and primers. For enhanced visibility, this product dispenses pink, transitions to clear upon cure, and features a blue fluorescing tracer.

LED-curable, peelable maskant formulated for surface protection during plating, anodizing, grit blasting, and acid stripping processes.

726-SC
UV-curable maskant with color change from blue to pink upon cure. This resin is resistant to plating, anodizing, air plasma spray, grit blasting, and shot peening. This product remains flexible at higher temperatures and can be removed by peeling after exposure to heat.

Blue PCB protective maskant. This UV-curable maskant is compatible with gold and copper connector pins. The product is easily removable, eliminating the concern of ionic contamination or silicone left behind by other methods.

High adhesion, acid-resistant, green maskant for plating and aggressive grit blasting processes. This product cures upon exposure to UV/Visible light and is easily removed after a hot water soak or ultrasonic bath.
730-BT
UV/Visible light-curable, 100% organic blue maskant provides excellent surface protection during chemical milling and harsh-environment processing. This material is impervious to most acid and alkali solutions. When used as a temporary protective coating, the product replaces environmentally hazardous and time-consuming solvent- or water-based maskants
731-REV-A
Bright yellow, fluorescing maskant with excellent surface protection during vibratory finishing, plating, shot-peening, anodizing, and aggressive grit blasting. This 100% organic thixotropic gel exhibits high adhesion, and cures quickly. The masking resin is trimmable after cure, is easily peeled off with a hot-water soak and leaves no residue on surfaces when properly cured.

UV-curable, green thixotropic gel maskant is sprayable onto components and resilient to blasting media. This maskant is a 100% organic masking resin that cures quickly and is easily removed by incineration.
734-BT
UV/Visible light-curable blue maskant provides good surface protection during harsh chemical environment processes. This product is impervious to most acid and alkali solutions. The masking resin is trimmable after cure and can be peeled off.
740-BT
Low adhesion, flexible blue maskant with good surface protection against paint, low-pressure grit blasting, shot peening, and general handling applications. The product cures upon exposure to UV/Visible light and is easily removed by peeling, leaving a residue-free surface on non-porous surfaces.
750-SC
High-temperature maskant with color change from purple to pink upon cure. This maskant provides excellent surface protection during higher temperature thermal spray coating, plasma spray, HVOF, and aggressive grit blasting processes. This 100% organic resin cures upon exposure to UV/Visible light and is easily removed by incineration.
9-318-F
Fluorescing and peelable maskant designed for rapid masking of electronic components and assemblies to protect from reflow or wave soldering operations. This product is highly thixotropic for easy dispensing on boards or components that may be difficult to mask with other methods.
7601
LED-curable plating maskant with color change upon cure and a blue fluorescing tracer. This product has moderate adhesion and can be easily peeled from the non-porous surfaces following the surface treatment process.
