UV and LED Light-Curable Conformal Coatings
Dymax electronic and industrial conformal coatings cure using UV or LED light in seconds to protect the substrate and component surfaces from destructive or environmental agents. From printed circuit boards, labels, and novelties, to micro-circuits for medical electronics, our protective coatings offer reliable protection from moisture, dust, chemicals, and temperature extremes.
Formulations with fluorescing capability and secondary curing mechanisms for shadow areas are available. Dymax Dual-Cure materials cure upon exposure to light and feature a secondary ambient moisture cure capability. Dymax Multi-Cure materials cure upon exposure to light and offer a secondary heat cure capability.
Dymax coatings have no solvents added and cure in seconds upon exposure to light energy, allowing coated parts can be instantly processed. Fast cure times increase throughput and decrease work in progress, resulting in greater manufacturing efficiency and cost savings.
Bondable substrates include PCB materials and components, as well as glass, FR-4, metal, ceramic, and glass-filled epoxy.
Many of our products meet IPC and MIL SPEC approvals.

High-performance conformal coating that cures tack-free upon exposure to UV/Visible light and then over time with ambient moisture. This product fluoresces bright blue, exhibits excellent corrosion, chemical resistance, and thermal cycling properties. The coating is easily applied from 2-8 mils (0.002 in – 0.008 in) thick to meet the requirements of most automotive PCB designs. UL 94 Flammability V-0 rating.

True black thin protective conformal coating for tamper-proofing PCBs. This product is excellent for hiding components, board features, and sensitive information. Optimized for single-pass coating up to 0.004 in. This coating cures upon exposure to UV/Visible light and has a secondary heat-cure capability. UL 94 Flammability V-0 rating.

Conformal coating with very low viscosity and no added solvents. This product is LED curable at 365/385/405nm and features a secondary heat cure. This film coating provides good electrical insulation and excellent wettability.

Low viscosity conformal coating formulated with no solvents added for rapid room-temperature cure when exposed to UV light. This coating has a secondary heat-cure and ultra-high fluorescence. UL 94 Flammability V-1 rating.
