PCB Protective Maskant – Color Change on Cure & Blue Fluorescing Tracer

Dymax SpeedMask® 9-7001 protective maskant cures upon exposure to UV light in seconds and changes from pink to clear for easy visual confirmation of cure. The material provides one-layer protection for connectors and printed circuit board (PCB) surfaces during solvent-based or light-curable conformal coating applications in printed wiring board (PWB) assembly.

The product is compatible with gold and copper connector pins and resists solvent-based conformal coatings and primers. 9-7001 is nonslumping and dispenses in a highly visible pink color for ease of application onto components. The maskant can be easily removed, eliminating the concern of ionic contamination or silicone left behind by other masking methods.
