Thermal Spray Coating Maskant

SpeedMask® 718 UV/Visible light-curable thermal-spray-coating maskant provides excellent surface and cavity protection during APS and HVOF as well as wire arc spray and D-gun coating. The material aids in the manufacture, overhaul, repair, and rework of turbine engine blades and vanes and other turbine components. This fast-curing thixotropic gel exhibits high adhesion on substrates but is easily removed by incineration at a minimum of 650°C [1200°F]. Recommended surfaces include nickel alloys and high-temperature steel.

Dymax materials have no solvents added and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds results in lower processing costs. When cured with Dymax UV light curing spot lamps, focused beam lamps, flood lamps, or conveyor systems they deliver optimum speed and performance for maximum efficiency. Dymax lamps offer the ideal balance of UV and visible light for the fastest, deepest cures.

SpeedMask® 718 is in full compliance with the RoHS2 Directives 2015/863/EU.
