Low-Viscosity Maskant for Plating and Aggressive Processing

SpeedMask^® 728-G-LV UV/Visible light-curable maskant offers good surface protection during acid stripping, plating, machining, buffing, polishing, and aggressive grit-blasting finishing processes. The product aids in the manufacture of aerospace, automotive, and consumer mobile device metal components.

This 100% organic masking resin can be sprayed or dipped, cures quickly, and is easily removed with a hot-water soak (140°F-160°F) or ultrasonic bath. The material is acid-resistant and protects component substrates such as nickel alloys, steel, titanium, stainless steel, as well as aluminum. 728-G-LV leaves no residue on non-porous surfaces when properly cured with light energy.

Dymax materials have no solvents added and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds results in lower processing costs. When cured with Dymax UV light curing spot lamps, focused beam lamps, flood lamps, or conveyor systems they deliver optimum speed and performance for maximum efficiency.
