LED and UV spot-cure systems deliver optimized curing energy to a very precise location. They can be used manually by an operator in a turnkey bench-top system or incorporated into a high-speed automated assembly line.
UV Spot Cure Systems can be equipped with rod lenses, single or multi-pole lightguides in various diameters and lengths for a variety of curing options.
LED Spot Cure Systems utilize high-intensity LEDs instead of conventional metal-halide or mercury-arc lamps. The relatively narrow frequency band of energy emitted by LEDs results in cooler substrate temperatures, making them ideal for curing thermally sensitive materials. One of our most popular curing systems, the BlueWave® 200 is a high-intensity bench-top unit, that is ideal for curing UV adhesives, coatings, and encapsulants. This unit achieves intensities of up to 17,000 mW/cm2, curing most materials in just seconds. The unit is easy to use and can be operated using a foot pedal or the front interface. This unit is ideal for wire tacking, shallow potting, tamper-proofing, edge sealing, and many more applications.
