Light Cure Materials for Medical Product Assembly

Dymax MD^® and 2000 MW medical adhesives and coatings cure in seconds upon exposure to LED or UV/Visible light for fast assembly of medical devices and components. The materials have no solvents added and pass ISO 10993 biocompatibility standards. In addition, some reach top-tier standards and are developed without known skin-sensitizing materials including IBOA as well as other materials of concern.

The light-curable products form clear, high-strength bonds to metal, medical plastics, and glass, as well as UV-inhibited and tinted plastics. In addition, several medical-grade adhesives and materials are formulated with Encompass^® technology, using colored and fluorescing materials to confirm proper material placement, in-line inspection, and cure.
