Dymax manufactures light-curable adhesives, coatings, gaskets, and maskants are designed for rapid and reliable assembly of the most difficult applications found in major household appliance assembly.
Our light-cure materials (LCMs) bond quickly when exposed to LED/UV/Visible light energy to join, protect, and seal components. Dymax materials are used to bond or protect glass, plastics, and metal substrates typically found in many household appliances.

Resilient chip encapsulant and wire bond adhesive designed for applications where a thixotropic, high-viscosity encapsulant or a damming material is required. This product cures with UV/Visible light and features a secondary heat cure to address shadow areas. This material has great flexibility, provides high moisture and thermal resistance, and fluoresces blue.
3094-T-REV-A
Low-stress, low shrinkage plastic bonding adhesive cures with high-intensity UV/Visible light in seconds for rapid bonding and sealing of a variety of plastics. The adhesive is thixotropic and jet friendly for easy dispensing.

Fluorescing conformal coating designed for rapid coating of PCBs and other electronic assemblies with coating thicknesses between 51 mic [0.002 in] and 510 mic [0.020 in]. This coating cures upon exposure to UV/Visible light and features a secondary heat cure to address shadow areas. UL 94 Flammability V-1 rating.
9483
High-performance conformal coating that cures tack-free upon exposure to UV/Visible light and then over time with ambient moisture. This product fluoresces bright blue, exhibits excellent corrosion, chemical resistance, and thermal cycling properties. The coating is easily applied from 2-8 mils (0.002 in – 0.008 in) thick to meet the requirements of most automotive PCB designs. UL 94 Flammability V-0 rating.
726-SC
UV-curable maskant with color change from blue to pink upon cure. This resin is resistant to plating, anodizing, air plasma spray, grit blasting, and shot peening. This product remains flexible at higher temperatures and can be removed by peeling after exposure to heat.
6-630-T
Glass-to-metal bonding adhesive cures within seconds using UV/Visible light, pre-applied activator, or secondary heat cure. This product features excellent flexibility and is high-temperature and moisture resistant.

Form-in-place gasket sealant has excellent moisture- and chemical resistance for high-temperature sealing applications and underwater enclosures that require a low compression set. This silicone-free gasket has a self-leveling viscosity and cures with UV/Visible light in seconds.
501-E-REV-A
501-E-REV-A Activator, when pre-applied to metallic, plated, ceramic, or glass substrates rapidly cures 600 series and 800 series structural adhesives and thermal interface materials in gaps from less than 1 mil to 20 mils.
9481-E
Formulated to ensure complete cure on high-density PCBs where shadow areas are a concern. This product is optimized for coating thicknesses between 25 mic [0.001 in] and 127 mic [0.005 in] and excels in coating applications where chemical and abrasion resistance is critical. The material cures upon exposure to UV/Visible light and features a secondary moisture cure. UL 94 Flammability V-0 rating.
GA-120
Self-leveling FIP gasket with good deflection is formulated for applications such as speaker assembly and automotive enclosures, which require a soft, tacky, flexible gasket.

Metal bonding adhesive curable with UV/Visible light, heat, or pre-applied activator. Visible light can penetrate through many UV-blocked and colored plastics and glasses. Applications include coil winding, potting, as well as metal-to-glass bonding.
