Rapid Tacking of Repair Wires on Printed Circuit Boards

Multi-Cure^® 9-911-REV-B is a UV/Visible light curing, high-tensile-strength adhesive for rapid tacking of repair wires on printed circuit boards.  The product has excellent adhesion to a wide variety of PCB materials as well as common wire jackets. The instant, “on-demand” cure is ideal for manual wire-tacking applications where precise placement is critical to achieving optimal performance. Faster UV fixture time results in increased throughput and less work in progress. It is specially formulated to cure with heat in applications where shadow areas exist.

Solvent-resistant 9-911-REV-B is one part, so no mixing is required. The material exhibits high bond strength to circuit board components as well as lead frame and is also compatible with Dymax conformal coatings. After cure, the product fluoresces bright blue for simple or automated visual inspection systems.

Dymax materials have no solvents added and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds results in lower processing costs. When cured with Dymax UV light curing spot lamps, focused beam lamps, flood lamps, or conveyor systems they deliver optimum speed and performance for maximum efficiency. Dymax lamps offer the optimum balance of UV and visible light for the fastest, deepest cures.
