MD® Medical Coating

1184-M-T-R

Fluorescing Conformal Coating For Medical Electronics

MD® 1184-M-T-R medical device coating is flexible, cures with UV/Visible light in seconds, and has no solvents added.  For components where shadow areas are present, the product features secondary heat-cure capability. This coating is a red color before cure for easy visual confirmation of material placement and automated quality inspection. The product is ideal for rapid sealing of plastic components and conformal coating of medical electronics. Bondable substrates include CAP, SAN, steel, PU, as well as PS. 1184-M-T-R also has ISO 10993-5 Cytotoxicity biocompatible approval.

Dymax MD® Medical Device materials have no solvents added and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds enables faster processing, greater output, and lower processing costs. When cured with Dymax light-curing spot lamps, focused beam lamps, flood lamps, or conveyor systems they deliver optimum speed and performance for medical device assembly. Dymax lamps offer the optimum balance of UV and visible light for the fastest, deepest cures. 1184-M-T-R medical device adhesive is in full compliance with the RoHS Directives 2015/863/EU.
