Dymax dual-cure 9771 conformal coating was developed to meet the most stringent requirements within the aerospace and defense industry. This UV conformal coating provides a cleaner PCB during extreme conditions due to its low outgassing and ionic content. It can be used to protect critical electronic devices commonly found within military and aerospace systems and meets MIL-STD 883 Method 5011 standards for missiles, satellite, and space applications that are exposed to extreme conditions. It is also NASA MAPTIS Listed (Material Code 09841).
The 9771 also features a highly visible bright blue fluorescent tracer for simple quality inspection under black light. It is a dual-cure conformal coating, able to cure with both UV/Visible light and moisture to reach shadow areas. It’s an excellent alternative to solvated coatings providing a thin, protective coating without excessive weight to the PCB.
9771 NASA low outgassing conformal coating meets ASTM E595 TML and CVCM, UL 94 Flammability V-0 rating, and UL 746E, is MIL-I-46058C listed, IPC-CC-830-B approved, and in full compliance with the RoHS2 Directives 2015/863/EU.
