LED-Curable Plastic Assembly Adhesive with Encompass® Technology

LED-curable MD^® 1209-M-UR-SC-Z is a Trimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide (TPO)-free medical device adhesive designed to rapidly bond plastics typically used in the manufacture of medical device assemblies. The product is a self-leveling Newtonian formulation with Encompass^® technology, which combines Dymax patented See-Cure color-change and Ultra-Red^® fluorescing technologies into one light-curable material. Adhesives with See-Cure technology start out bright blue for visual confirmation of material placement onto components and transitions to colorless upon full cure. Ultra-Red technology fluoresces bright red for easy quality inspection of the bond line. 1209-M-UR-SC-Z adheres to a variety of substrates including PVC, PC, PS, and ABS, as well as SEBS.  Typical applications include plastic assemblies, tube sets, needle bonding, and medical potting.
