MD® 1401-M-UR needle bonding adhesive is LED curable at either 385 nm or 405 nm wavelength for very fast bonding of substrates used in needle bonding and medical device assemblies. The product cures tack-free upon exposure to UV/Visible light and has a medium viscosity for easy dispensing onto components.
Formulated with Ultra-Red® technology, the material fluoresces bright red under low-intensity blacklight (365 nm). The bright red fluorescence contrasts extremely well on plastics that naturally fluoresce blue in color (like PVC), and also assists with visual inspection of the bond-line area. Bondable substrates include stainless steel, PC, PS, glass, PA, ABS, and PMMA, as well as PP.
Dymax MD® Medical Device adhesives have no solvents added and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds enables faster processing, greater output, and lower processing costs. When cured with Dymax light-curing spot lamps, focused beam lamps, flood lamps, or conveyor systems they deliver optimum speed and performance for medical device assembly. Dymax lamps offer the optimum balance of UV and visible light for the fastest, deepest cures.
