What is Changing

Classification from Repro. 2 to Repro. 1B (CMR) as part of 21.ATP

  • The new classification will amend the current Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) Regulations EU No. 1272/2008, Annex VI and will reclassify as:
    •   Chemical Name  Classification and Category  Hazard Code
        Trimethylbenzoyl diphenylphosphine oxide  Reproductive toxicity, Category 1B  H360Fd
        Skin sensitization, Category 1B  H317


  • "Suspected" to "May" cause reproductive harm
  • EU Customers must be notified by July 1, 2025, with safe handling considerations
  • Rest of World will be notified following regional compliance requirements
  • 21.ATP in effect by September 1, 2025 - includes updated SDSs/labels for all region
