Dymax Multi-Cure® 6-621-GEL-F structural adhesive cures with UV/Visible light, heat, or pre-applied activator for fast assembly of components made of metal, glass, ceramic, phenolic, filled polyamide, and other substrate materials. The product is also formulated to cure with heat in applications where shadow areas exist. In addition, visible light can penetrate through many UV-blocked and colored plastics and glass to cure the adhesive. The material fluoresces blue under black light for easy quality inspection. Typical applications include potting, metal-to-glass bonding, as well as coil winding.
Dymax materials have no solvents added and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds results in lower processing costs. When cured with Dymax UV light curing spot lamps, focused beam lamps, flood lamps, or conveyor systems they deliver optimum speed and performance for maximum efficiency. Dymax lamps offer the optimum balance of UV and visible light for the fastest, deepest cures.
