High-Intensity Light Bars for Speed, Depth, and Fullness of Cure

The BlueWave® FX-725 and FX-1525 are high-intensity line-curing systems delivering over 4.2 W/cm2 of true, high-irradiance LED light for unmatched curing speed, depth, and fullness of cure among all Dymax LED systems.

Their minimal housing allows them to be stacked end-to-end into continuous arrays for wide or long curing zones. Focused at a 25 mm (~1") working distance and engineered to minimize intensity loss over greater distances, they excel where substrate geometry is non-uniform or obstructed — and mount directly onto the UVCS V3.0 conveyor

The controller features an intuitive 7" (177.8 mm) touchscreen interface, letting operators adjust parameters and view status or alarm reports directly. It stores up to 16 programs for repeatable processes, offers intensity control from 10-100% on each emitter, and supports manual, timed, and PLC operation modes. A single controller can operate up to two emitters, reducing cost and installation footprint.

Available in 365, 385, and 405 nm, the FX line emitters can be mixed and matched to suit a wide range of UV and visible light-curable materials. The system utilizes LED curing technology, which provides quiet, efficient operation with no warm-up period and minimal heat emission. The BlueWave® FX-725 and FX-1525 are coupled with a full stand of accessories, including a mounting stand and light shielding, for maximum flexibility.

Intensity
Full-Depth Cure at Full-Production Speed

Every substrate passing under the FX line receives over 4.2 W/cm² of true, high-irradiance LED light — the highest output among all Dymax LED systems. That means complete, full-depth cures on adhesives, coatings, and encapsulants in a single pass, helping reduce undercured material and second runs.

A Cure Array that Scales to Your Line

Stack BlueWave® FX line emitters end-to-end to build a continuous cure zone across any line length. The BlueWave FX-725 delivers a 25 x 75 mm (1"x3") cure area, and the FX-1525 delivers 25 x 150 mm (1"x6"). Both provide exceptional uniformity, so every inch of your bond line, coating, or substrate receives consistent, full-depth cure regardless of how long the array runs.

Frequently Asked Questions

They differ in curing area size. The FX-725 covers 1" x 3 " (25 x 75 mm), while the FX-1525 covers 1" x 6" (25 x 150 mm). Both deliver the same intensity and uniformity.

Yes, the FX-725 and FX-1525 can be combined in the same array, giving you flexibility to mix curing zone lengths within one continuous line.

Yes. RediCure (365 nm) outputs up to 2.4 W/cm2, while PrimeCure (385 nm) and VisiCure (405 nm) both output up to 4.2 W/cm2.

Yes, wavelengths can be mixed to produce optimal cures for different materials in the same setup.

The main difference is how many emitters each can run. The 1CH controller operates a single emitter, while the 2CH controller operates up to two emitters at once. They also differ slightly in size and weight: the 1CH controller is 15" x 12.6" x 6.54" (380 x 320 x 166 mm), and the 2CH controller is 16.5" x 13.8" x 6.54" (420 x 350 x 166 mm).

Medical, consumer electronics, automotive, aerospace/defense, optical, and appliance industries. Common applications include adhesive bonding, gasket and maskant curing, printed ink and coating curing, and medical coatings on substrates like catheter tubes.
