About the job:
- Support and implement a cost-effective sales management program and budget designed to maximize regional sales and Support Global activities as required within the region.
- Provide technical, sales and marketing support to Dymax Sales Partners to meet the growth sales target of the company.
- Coordinate projects with Dymax on a Global basis. Supporting and following the guidelines of the “Fair Rewards” Program.
- Assist in Developing and implementing of strategies to close key major prospect accounts that requires a dedicated involvement utilizing and coordinating with the Global/Regional Team.
- Develop the in-depth coverage at Key Dymax accounts by expanding our base of contacts and account support to ensure we remain the sole supplier for Dymax Leading Edge Products to them.
- Initiate technical development projects as required and coordinate these programs with the business development team.
- Maintain a complete competitive intelligence program to protect our accounts from competition and provide information to Dymax Corporate through timely, weekly updates.
- Update data base such as Salesforce System on a regular (Daily/monthly) basis.
- Maintain consistent professional and ethical behavior.
- Other tasks as assigned by management.
The ideal candidate:
- Candidate must possess relevant diploma/degree.
- Candidate with a strong value-added technical sales background. Sales professionals with people management experience in the adhesives, coatings, chemicals, automotive paint, plastic, or parallel industry will be preferred.
- Candidate with manufacturing industry experience in Aerospace & Defense, Medical or Automotive Electronics background can be considered.
- Technical knowledge to support customers and conduct some testing when required.
- Able to work with inter-departments to fulfil customer needs.
- Understanding of product regulatory requirements to work with EH&S and/or government agencies.
- Equipped with multitask, organization, critical thinking, excellent analytical, creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge in Japanese key account management.
- Fluent English and Japanese (read/write/speak)
- Self-motivated, independent performer with good analytical, planning and computer skills, plus the ability to interact with all levels of management and translate technical requirements into successful sales programs.
- Relevant experience in direct business and managing industry distributors.
- Frequent travelling is required, including domestic and some international travel when required.
Applicants must be authorized to work in Japan, preferably based in Tokyo, Osaka & Nagoya. The applicant will be on remote work arrangement and contracted under a dispatch agency appointed by Dymax.
