Perfluorooctane Sulfonates (PFOS)
Dymax adhesives, coatings, and sealants do not contain PFOA (Perfluorooctanoic Acid).
PFOA is used by companies to make fluoropolymers for use in coatings, non-stick cookware, and all weather clothing. There is a concern at the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) because scientists are finding levels of PFOA in many people throughout the world. PFOA is a man-made chemical and does not occur naturally in the environment. It is very persistent in the environment.
