Low Viscosity HLC™ Adhesive
HLC-M-1004 is a low viscosity HLC™ adhesive designed for the fast assembly of medical devices. The adhesive meets a variety of biocompatibility standards and is well-suited for bonding applications on catheters, endoscopes, diagnostic equipment, therapeutic devices, and general medical devices. The hybrid light-curable formulation has a built-in moisture/contact cure feature that enables complete adhesive curing in dark areas.
HLC-M-1004 cures rapidly with broad-spectrum light and is LED optimized at 405 nm, and it can also cure at a very low intensity (~ 20 mW/cm2). The adhesive cures instantly upon contact but exposure to light energy increases bond integrity. Other characteristics include a tack-free surface after light cure and 1,300 viscosity for controlled dispense. The product is compatible with many plastics and metals, including ABS, CAP, PC, PEI, PMMA, and SAN.
This product has been developed to be used with specific dispensing systems designed for HLC materials to follow best dispensation practices.
HLC-M-1004 adhesive is in full compliance with RoHS directives 2015/863/EU.
