Light-cure conformal coatings and encapsulants provide excellent printed circuit board protection against thermal shock, heat, humidity, and various corrosive elements to keep infotainment systems operating at their best.

Dymax coatings, encapsulants, and maskants cure in seconds upon exposure to UV/Visible light enabling fast processing, greater throughput, and cost savings. Light-curable materials are available for a variety of automotive infotainment and communication systems including radios, GPS modules, satellite navigation, telematics boxes, as well as portable navigators, power audio, and car multimedia.

For applications where shadow areas are a concern, light-cure conformal coatings and encapsulants are formulated with secondary moisture cure. Light-curable maskants for protecting keep-out areas and board-level components during conformal coating, wave solder, and reflow processes are also available.
