Dymax MD® 215-CTH-LV-UR-SC catheter adhesive bonds next-generation catheter designs using Nylon 12, PEBA, and other difficult to bond substrates. The product features Encompass® technology that combines the benefits of Dymax patented See-Cure color-change and Ultra-Red® fluorescing technologies into one light-curable formulation. Adhesives with See-Cure start out bright blue in color for visual confirmation of material placement onto substrates. Upon exposure to sufficient light energy, the blue color transitions to colorless, indicating a complete cure. The bright red fluorescence of Ultra-Red technology contrasts extremely well on plastics that naturally fluoresce blue in color (like PVC), and assists with post-cure visual inspection of the bond area.
Typical applications include assembling balloon to lumen, hub to lumen, and manifold bond joints. The product also meets a variety of ISO 10993 biocompatibility approvals.
Dymax MD® Medical Device Adhesives contain no nonreactive solvents and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds enables faster processing, greater output, and lower processing costs.
