MD® Medical Adhesive

209-CTH

Multipurpose Flourescing Catheter Bonding Adhesive

Dymax MD® 209-CTH catheter adhesive cures in seconds upon exposure to UV/Visible light for fast catheter assembly. The product rapidly bonds flexible and rigid plastics and metals typically used in the manufacture of catheters and similar medical devices. For easy inspection of the bond line, the product fluoresces blue under low-intensity black light (365 nm). Bondable substrates include PC, PVC, ABS, PMMA, and PA, as well as stainless steel.  Typical applications include manifold/lumen, hypotube/hub, and balloon/lumen.

Dymax MD® adhesives have no solvents added and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds enables faster processing, greater output, and lower processing costs. When cured with Dymax light-curing spot lamps, focused beam lamps, flood lamps, or conveyor systems they deliver optimum speed and performance for medical device assembly. Dymax lamps offer the optimum balance of UV or LED light for the fastest, deepest cures.

MD® 209-CTH catheter adhesive is in full compliance with the RoHS2 Directives 2015/863/EU.
