LED-Curable Ultra-Red® Fluorescing Adhesive for Plastics and Metals

MD® 1501-M-UR with Ultra-Red® fluorescing technology is designed for bonding lightly colored, opaque, or translucent substrates with either UV/Visible light or LED light at 405 nm. This product fluoresces bright red under low-intensity black light (365 nm). The bright red fluorescence contrasts extremely well on plastics that naturally fluoresce blue in color (like PVC), and greatly assists with visual inspection of the bond-line area.

Typical applications include needle bonding, syringe assembly, and single use assemblies. 1501-M-UR medical device adhesive also meets ISO 10993-5 Cytotoxicity biocompatibility approvals.

Conformal Coatings for Automotive Electronics

Automotive conformal coatings for electronics offer tough, durable protection of printed circuit boards used in the assembly of vehicles. 7501-T-UR-SC protective resin cures with either 385 nm or 405 nm UV wavelength light sources for fast sealing of multiple substrates typically used in critical automotive components and assemblies. The product features Encompass® Technology with combines Dymax patented See-Cure and Ultra-Red® fluorescing technologies into one product. The bright blue color of products formulated with See-Cure technology transitions to colorless when the bond line is exposed to the proper amount and wavelength of energy, providing a visual indication of complete cure.
