MD® Medical Device Adhesive

MD^® 1405-M-VT-UR-SC is LED optimized for light-curing at either 385 nm or 405 nm and features Encompass^® technology which combines Dymax patented See-Cure color-change and Ultra-Red^® fluorescing technologies into one product, for easy visual confirmation of material cure and quality inspection. Uncured materials with See-Cure technology have a bright blue color that aids in the verification of adhesive placement. Upon exposure to sufficient light energy the blue color transitions to colorless, indicating the material has fully cured. After cure, Ultra-Red^® technology provides the material with a bright red fluorescence that contrasts extremely well on plastics that naturally fluoresce blue in color (like PVC), and greatly assists with post-cure visual inspection of the bond line area. 

Dymax MD^® Medical Device adhesives are solvent-free and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds enables faster processing, greater output, and lower processing costs. When cured with Dymax light-curing spot lamps, focused beam lamps, flood lamps, or conveyor systems they deliver optimum speed and performance for medical device assembly. Dymax lamps offer the optimum balance of UV and visible light for the fastest, deepest cures.
