 Flexible Light-Cure Conformal Coating

Multi-Cure® 9-20557 cures in seconds upon exposure to UV/Visible light and is designed for rapid conformal coating of printed circuit boards and other electronic assemblies. The product features secondary heat cure capability which allows the coating to cure in applications where shadow areas exist. In addition, this one-part formulation fluoresces blue for quality inspection and is also MIL-I-46058C listed and IPC-CC-830-B approved.

This coating has been optimized for coating thicknesses between 51 mic [0.002 in] and 510 mic [0.020 in]. This medium viscosity material, designed to enhance wetting of leads, is suitable for most types of spray equipment. The low modulus of 9-20557 allows it to excel in coating applications where thermal shock performance is critical.

Dymax materials are solvent free and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds results in lower processing costs. When cured with Dymax UV light curing spot lamps, focused beam lamps, flood lamps, or conveyor systems they deliver optimum speed and performance for maximum efficiency. Dymax lamps offer the optimum balance of UV and visible light for the fastest, deepest cures. Multi-Cure® is in full compliance with the RoHS Directives 2002/95/EC and 2003/11EC.
