Product Spotlight: BlueWave® AX-550 LED Flood Lamp

Get high-intensity LED flood-light curing in a compact size! The BlueWave® AX-550 flood-curing system combines an emitter, controller, and power supply into one compact unit, eliminating the bulk and cost of connection cables and other miscellaneous parts. Quiet and efficient, it is available with a 365, 385, or 405 nm emitter that provides a sizable 5" x 5" curing area. This curing lamp can also be easily incorporated into automated assembly lines.

BR-5541M Polyether Urethane Methacrylate
Great for use in formulating flexible 3D printing resins and plastic bonding adhesives. Diluted with 20% IBOA, BR-5541M provides a low modulus, good adhesion to a variety of substrates, and excellent elasticity. The high molecular weight of the backbone structure offers improved elasticity and rebound while the compressibility of the material makes it a good candidate for usage in gasket and sealing applications.

BR-640D - Ideal for Electronics Coatings
BR-640D Polybutadiene Urethane Acrylate

Ideal for electronic coatings and adhesives, potting compounds, and water-vapor barrier coatings. Designed to meet rigorous electronic applications, BR-640D has many desirable properties typical to PBD resins combined with radiation curability. In applications requiring thermal cycling resistance, this oligomer withstands the extremes of temperature typical of such tests without undue degradation of properties.

Rigid materials, with high tensile strength and low elongation, are readily available, but offerings of tough, flexible materials with high elongation are more limited. To create such resins, formulators must overcome the technical challenges of developing these types of materials, as well as the challenges of actually printing flexible parts with certain types of 3D printers.

BR-771F Polyester Urethane Acrylate

Ideal for plastic coatings, structural adhesives, and tough 3D printing resins. BR-771F is a difunctional aliphatic oligomer. It demonstrates excellent cure speed and provides formulations with a good balance of high tensile strength and moderate elongation. It also exhibits excellent adhesion to plastic substrates, particularly polycarbonate.
