Mask and seal all components in one step! Dymax SpeedMask® UV curable medical masking resins are residue free and offer reliable protection during most metal-finishing processes. SpeedMask UV curable medical masking resins are ideal for use on orthopaedic implants such as knee replacements and hip stems, surgical instruments, and medical devices.
SpeedMask UV curable masking resins replace tape, wax, lacquers, and fixtures and can seal and protect machined, ground, or polished surfaces during tumbling, peening, abrading, plating, plasma-spray coatings, or cleaning. Solvent-free UV curable masking resins can be applied and UV cured in seconds, are easy to incorporate into automated systems, and help reduce labor, rework, and scrap. The SpeedMask masking resins are available in burn-off, peelable, and water-soluble grades. The resins are easily removed and leave the surface residue free.
