SpeedMask® 7701 maskant provides excellent surface protection during many plating, decorative etching and anodizing, blasting, and powder-coating processes. The material also has the ability to remain flexible at higher temperature processes up to 204°C [400°F].
7701 can be sprayed or dipped onto parts and cures quickly upon exposure to light energy. The product is easily removed after processing and a hot-water soak may be also used to ease removal. When properly cured, the masking resin leaves no residue on non-porous surfaces. Typical applications include plating, anodizing, powder coating, part handling, grit blasting, and shot peening. Recommended surfaces include nickel alloys, steel, stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, cobalt, and glass.
Dymax materials have no solvents added and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds results in lower processing costs. When cured with Dymax UV light curing spot lamps, focused beam lamps, flood lamps, or conveyor systems they deliver optimum speed and performance for maximum efficiency. Dymax lamps offer the optimum balance of UV and visible light for the fastest, deepest cures.
SpeedMask® 7701 is in full compliance with the RoHS2 Directives 2015/863/EU.
